Authenticity: A transparent relationship with God and others. We are a place that allows people to feel safe to let themselves be known by other people. We value authentic relationships with God. As a result of that, we also value a transparent mask-free relationship with each other
Beauty: Celebrating God’s creation through creativity and restored lives. God not only created everything beautiful, but he also created us as his masterpieces. But like the earth our lives can get ruined and become burnt down to into a heap of ashes. God restores our lives and makes them into things that are beautiful again.
Belonging: A place of value in God’s family. Our identity is in Jesus and as a result of that, we know who we belong to. We are not a face in the crowd. He created us to belong to Him and to each other. There is purpose and satisfaction in being a part of what God is doing through His people today.
Service: Serving others instead of being self-serving. Jesus Christ came to serve, and not to be served. We think he had it right and we want to copy him. We are a church of people who are active in our own gatherings as well as in the community. We love to do random acts of kindness and creative ways of showing compassion.
Spirituality: A place to grow deep in the spiritual ways of Jesus Christ. We believe that people are by nature very spiritual. That’s the way they were created. There are many different spiritual pathways to walk, but we believe in following the spiritual pathways that Jesus Christ taught about. We follow him down the path he walked, because he is the only one who knows the way.
Truth: Ancient, transcending and life-giving Word of God. We believe that because God desires to be in a relationship with us, he has also communicated with us all that He desires and is needed to have that intimate relationship with Him and to live an abundant life. It is Ancient, not something some guys came up with six months ago in a back room. It is without error. It is transcending because it is true in any culture, place and century, it doesn’t change. It is life-giving because it is the very breath of God, bringing us to life.
